Museum St. Dionys - Beneath the Parish Church of
Esslingen one can find the spectacular beginnings of the town. In 1960, when a new under-floor heating was to be installed, the remains of two older
church were discovered beneath the Gothic church of st. Dionysius. The results of the excavations, which lasted 3 years, can be visited in the museum which shows
the exciting history of the building.
